The 2016 labor weekend I went to the High Point State Park with Yao. Went to the spectacular observatory on top of the mountain and the view was amazing. Also the Lake Marcia has its own little cute beach for you to play and enjoy the whole day. Many things you can do here but you need to do some research in advance. I am sharing some of the views and vids I took:

In the afternoon we stopped by the largest 'Sunflower Maze' in Sussex, NJ. Look at these! Totally different experience!
